LALC supports community groups and organizations that hold weekly meetings at our church. They are not church affiliated, but share our mission. We've included contact information for each group in case you or someone you know is interested in learning more.

Religious Associations

Los Altos Lutheran is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA).

The ELCA organizes the nationwide ministry into 65 synods. Los Altos Lutheran is in the Sierra Pacific Synod, which includes 48 counties in Northern California and 13 counties in Northern Nevada.

S.C.V.L.P.: Each synod is divided geographically into parishes. Los Altos Lutheran is in the Santa Clara Valley Lutheran Parish, comprising Lutheran churches in Santa Clara County.
