Worship With Us

Our 10 a.m. worship service follows a liturgy pattern of gathering, word, meal, and sending. We gather together by the calling of the Holy Spirit. We hear God’s word through scripture, song, preaching, and prayer. We receive God’s grace through the meal of wine and bread. We are filled and sent to share God’s love in the world.

Our music is led by organ, keyboard and choir, with additional music from hand bells. We also have guest musicians who join us on various Sundays.

Our bulletin will lead you through the service with printed readings, hymns, and prayers.

If you cannot join us in-person, please join us online by visiting our YouTube channel found on our home page. We look forward to worshiping with you!

If you would like to contribute an offering, please drop your gift in the offering plate, mail it to the church office, or you may pay online through Electronic Giving.

Communion

Our online community is an extension of the Sunday worship service.  Accordingly, it is appropriate, for those who wish, to set out bread and wine to be used for communion for any who are participating. This is comparable to the practice of bringing communion to the sick and shut-in from the Sunday worship.

Luther argued fiercely that what makes the bread and wine a sacrament is the promise of God and not the prayers of the priest. Therefore no one should have any qualms about whether a communion done this way is legitimate. Christ is present to us in the word spoken in the gathered community – and that is what we are doing.
