Using Our Facility

Using Our Facility

Our facilities are an expression of Christ to the community and its usage must be in harmony with the mission of Los Altos Lutheran Church. Activities related to music, arts, education or with a focus on children or family are in keeping with our mission of serving the needs of the community. Organizations that are non-profit and charitable are the preferred users of our facilities. Other organizations will only be considered if their usage is in strong alignment with our mission and only after careful review by the Council. The programs and activities of Los Altos Lutheran Church will always have priority over outside groups.

Use of the facilities requires approval of a fully completed ‘Facility Use Request.’ The use request must include a certificate of insurance naming Los Altos Lutheran Church as additionally insured. Applications for use of the facilities must allow four to six weeks for approval. Community use of the facilities cannot conflict with church activities. Please contact the church office for additional information, 650-948-3012.

Non-profit community groups and organizations use our classrooms and fellowship hall for their meetings and activities.

Memorial Services
When Christians gather at a time of death, we gather to share our grief and support one another in time of loss. As we hear God’s promise of grace and life, we remember the life of the deceased and entrust him or her into God’s grace.
